This tiny mountain kingdom is a land of ancient traditions and superb art and architecture. Since its doors were cautiously opened in 1974, visitors have been mesmerized with its charming people and undiluted culture.
 
 
 
Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On arrival at Delhi international airport, meet, assist and transfer to hotel. Check in & overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi / Paro
Early departure transfer to the Delhi International airport for connect flight to Paro. On arrival, meet, assist & transfer to hotel. Check in & later visit Dzong in Paro and the national museum. Walk through the market place. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Paro
Morning take a short trek to Tiger Nest. Later this afternoon visit to the Kiyuchu Lakhang – The oldest Buddhist place in the Tibeten region. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Paro – Thimphu (65 Kms & 2 Hrs)
Morning drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. On arrival check in at the hotel. Later visit to the Tashichoe Dzong – The summer palace of the spiritual leader of the land also visit the Chortan temple. Evening free for shopping. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Thimphu – Punakha (77 Kms & 3 Hrs)
Morning drive to Punakha through the Rhodendren forest over Dochula park in Punakha valley. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Later excursion to Punakha Valley water fort the winter residence of Jekhempo, where Shbdrung Namgyal is buried. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06: Punakha – Gantey Gompa – Trongsa (143 Kms & 6 Hrs)
In the morning leave from Punakha to Trongsa. En route visit Gantey Gompa and Wangdi through the black forest visiting Chorten and the beautiful view of Tongsa monastery. The 3300m high Pele La is the entrance to central Bhutan. Check in & overnight at the hotel in Trongsa.
Day 07: Trongsa – Bumthang (71 Kms & 3 Hrs)
Trongsa zone overlooks the old tribute to Bhutan. Drive to Bumthang and visit Purchey Lakhan monastery. Check in & overnight in Bumthang.
Day 08: Bumthang
Bumthang is the holy land of Bhutan where Guru Padma Sambhava and Pema Lingpa established a temple. Jambay Lakhan has a Buddha statue from the time of Tibetan ruler Songtsen Gempo. We visit Nyingma monastery tampshint and the old temple of Kochhogsum also visit the farm houses and a short walk throught Tangbay monastery and Dzong Jakkar. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 09: Bumthang – Mongar (198 Kms & 7 Hrs)
Early morning drive to Ura where there are some interesting painting. Driving through many passes we reach Mongar highest pass is 3800m at Thumsing La, the entrance to East Bhutan. Drive through gorges and beautiful landscapes to Mongar. On arrival, check in & overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Mongar – Trashigang (91 Kms & 3 Hrs)
Morning visit to Mongar dzong and drive further to Trashigang which is situated high above the valley. Check in & overnight at Tashigang.
Day 11: Trashigang – Chorten Kora – Trashi Yangze – Trashigang
Full day excursion will lead us to Chorten Kora, where important “tantric” holy men are found. If the road conditions allow, we visit Trashi Yangze valley, the only one of its kind. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: Trashigang – Guwahati (290 Kms & 8 Hrs)
As long interesting drive through the forest over the serpentine roads through many passes leads us to Duar plains to the Indian border and after the border formalities drive through the plains of Assam via passing many tea plantation thereby reaching Guwahati in the evening. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 13: Guwahati / Delhi
AM half day site seeing of Guwahati. Later departure transfer to domestic airport for connect flight to Delhi. On arrival meet, assist & direct transfer to Internation airport for connect flight to home destination.
