A stronghold of Tibetan Buddhist culture, Ladakh is a remote land of soaring snow peaks, wind and ice hewn rocks and ancient monasteries. From the spectacular river gorge at the entrance to Kinnaur to alpine valley pastures, this drive encapsulates a dramatic transition in landscape. Monasteries and prayer flags are dotted along the banks of glacial streams, while blue sheep and ibex graze amidst sparse pastures sprinkled with marine fossils.
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
On arrival at Delhi international airport, meet, assist and transfer to hotel. Check in & overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi = Kalka
Morning assisted transfer to railway station. Board train to Kalka. On arrival at Kalka, transfer by jeeps to hotel. Check in & overnight at the hotel.
 
Day 03 : Kalka - Shimla (2200 Mts, 110 kms & 3 Hrs)
Morning drive to Shimla. On arrival check in at the hotel. PM visit Viceregal Lodge and later walk through the Mall. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Shimla – Rampur – Sarahan (160 Kms & 4 Hrs)
Morning drive to Sarahan via Narkanda. En-route visit the Sutlej Valley. At Rampur, visit the wooden Palace. At Sarahan, visit the Bhimakali Temple & witness the evening prayer ceremony. Check in & overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Sarahan – Sangla (2700 Mts, 115 Kms & 5 Hrs)
Morning drive on the Hindustan-Tibet road through the Sutlej Valley to Kinnaur region through Baspa Valley to Sangla. Night at Camp.
Day 06: Sangla – Kalpa – Kinnaur (45 Kms & 2 Hrs)
Morning drive to Kalpa from where one can see the Kinnaur Kailash peak (6400 Mts). PM walk to the villages at Kinnaur & see the folk crafts. Night at Hotel.
Day 07: Kinnaur – Spiti – Tabo (1219 Mts, 192 Kms & 8 Hrs)
Morning drive through the greener valleys to the drier regions of Trans Himalayas to Spiti region with its Gorges, Valleys, glaciers and snow topped peaks. En-route visit Lake Nako. Proceed to Tabo. Check in & overnight at a Camp.
Day 08: Tabo – Lhalun – Kaza
Morning visit the Tabo Monastry and later drive Dhankar Monastry and on to Kaza via Lhalun. Check in & overnight at the Camp.
Day 09: Kaza – Kibbar – Kye (4230 Mts, 111 Kms & 6 Hrs)
Morning drive though high mountain roads to Kibbar. View the Spiti Valley and drive to Kye Monastry. Check in & overnight at the camp.
Day 10: Kye – Lahaul (Chota Dhara) (3000 Mts, 113 Kms & 5 Hrs)
Morning drive to Lahaul viewing the towering Mountains & through Passes like Kunzum La (4590 Mts). Overnight at Chota Dara in the Chandra Valley at a camp.
Day 11: Chota Dhara – Keylong (3350 Mts, 74 Kms & 3 Hrs)
Morning drive to the Lahaul Valley. En-route visit Khardong Monastry. On arrival at Keylong, check into the hotel. Later visit Guru Ghantal monastery. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: Keylong – Sarchu (4000 Mts, 105 Kms & 5 Hrs)
Morning drive to Sarchu through the Baralachha Pass (4850 Mts). View the snow covered peaks and the crystal clear lakes. Overnight at the camp.
Day 13: Sarchu – Tsokar (115 Kms & 4 Hrs)
Morning drive to Tsokar which is close to Zanskar. Cross the Lachlung Pass (5100 Mts) to Canyon Country. Through the region of Rupshu & Changthang, we reach the salt water Tsokar Lake. Overnight at the camp.
Day 14: Tsokar – Tsomiriri Lake (85 Kms & 3 Hrs)
Morning drive through Polo Pass (4450 Mts) to the valley of Tsomiriri White Lake. Visit the Changpas Nomadic Tribes and one can also see the wild Donkeys (Kyang). Visit the Kharzok Monastry. Overnight at the camp
Day 15: Tsomoriri Lake – Leh (240 Kms & 6 Hrs)
Morning full day drive to Leh. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 16: Leh – Spitok – Phyang – Leh
AM visit Shankar Gompa, Leh Gompa & Leh Palace. Excursion to Spitok & Phyang Monastry. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 17: Leh – Thiksey – Hemis – Shey – Leh
Full Day excursion to Thiksey, Hemis & Shey. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 18: Leh / Delhi
Morning transfer to Leh domestic airport for flight to Delhi. PM free to shop for souvenirs. Later transfer to International airport for connect flight to your home destination.

Day 19: Transfer to Airport for Home Destination.

Extension Kashmir:

Day 18: Leh – Lekir – Rizong – Alchi – Uletokpo (75 Kms & 3 Hrs)
Morning drive to Uletokpo visiting the Monastries at Lekir, Rizong & Alchi. On arrival check in at the hotel in Uletokpo. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 19: Uletokpo – Lamayuru – Mulbekh – Kargil (160 Kms & 5 Hrs)
Morning drive to Kargil, en-route visiting the monastries at Lamayuru & Mulbekh. Check in at the hotel in Kargil. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 20: Kargil – Sonmarg – Srinagar (230 Kms & 9 Hrs)
Morning drive to Srinagar through the Zojila Pass (3527 Mts) via Sonmarg (Meadow of Gold). On arrival at Srinagar, check in at the houseboat. Overnight on the houseboat.
Day 21: Srinagar
AM visit the Shalimar Bagh & Nishat Bagh. PM Shikara Ride on the Dal Lake. Overnight on the houseboat.
Day 22: Srinagar / Delhi
Morning transfer to Srinagar domestic airport for connect to Delhi. PM free to shop for souvenirs. Later transfer to International airport for flight back to home destination.
