Valley of Flowers
The Valley of flowers was discovered accidentally by an explorer and mountaineer, Frank Smith. Surrounded by the River Pushpavati and small streams, at an altitude ranging between 3658 to 3962 mts., The Valley is 10 kms. long and 2 kms. wide. The Valley remains snow covered from November to May, but in the month of June, when the snow melts, the valley blooms with colours hidden in the petals of rare species of Flowers and spreads as the carpet of Flowers woven by Mother Nature. Apart from flowering plants, wild Animals and Birds enhance the beauty of this natural flowering Valley.

» Hemkund Saheb Tour
Situated at a height of 4329 mts. near the Valley of Flowers, is the holy Hemkund Lokpal Lake. Though the climb is steep and tiring, it provides scenic beauty and majestic view of crystal clear lake surrounded by seven snow clad peaks of the Mighty Himalayas.
